There’s something magical about summer weddings in Marbella, especially when they take place at the breathtaking Finca La Concepción. Last summer, we had the privilege of bringing Carly and Benji’s dream wedding to life, alongside an incredible team including Nora M Photography and Gaia Weddings. Their celebration was a perfect blend of elegance, personality, and floral artistry—one we’ll never forget.
A Visionary Bride with a Clear Palette
Carly came to us with a clear vision for her big day, and we were immediately captivated by her sense of style and attention to detail. She wanted a warm, romantic color palette of peach, blush, and soft lavender blue, blending seamlessly into the natural beauty of Finca La Concepción. These tones set the stage for an effortlessly chic yet deeply personal wedding design.
From the very first meeting, Carly emphasized the importance of creating a welcoming atmosphere for her guests, filled with thoughtful details and a vibrant celebration of love. We couldn’t wait to bring her ideas to life.
Setting the Stage: A Floral Masterpiece
The ceremony space at Finca La Concepción is known for the ruin and timeless charm, which provided the perfect backdrop for our floral statement piece: a square wedding arch completely covered in flowers.
This wasn’t just any arch—it was a true floral showstopper. Peach roses, blush peonies, and pops of pink created a stunning visual against the white wedding aisle, adding warmth and personality to the ceremony space. Carly and Benji’s vows were framed by this enchanting design, creating a picture-perfect moment they (and their guests) will cherish forever.
A Limoncello-Inspired Seating Plan
Carly and Benji wanted their guests to feel cherished from the moment they arrived, so we designed a seating plan with a twist. Each guest’s name was attached to a mini bottle of limoncello, a nod to the Mediterranean vibe of Marbella. Not only was it a functional element, but it also doubled as a memorable keepsake for guests to take home.
This personalized touch brought smiles all around and seamlessly tied into the couple’s vision of an elegant yet approachable celebration.
The Cocktail Area: A Floral Tunnel
The archway leading to the cocktail area was transformed into a floral tunnel filled with white wisteria cascading from above, creating a whimsical, almost fairy-tale-like entrance. As guests made their way to the cocktail reception, they were greeted with this dreamy floral installation that seemed to float above them.
In the front of the archway, we incorporated colorful blooms that complemented the ceremony design, tying the spaces together while creating distinct focal points for photos and guest experience. The transition from ceremony to cocktail hour felt seamless yet dynamic, leaving guests in awe at every turn.
Reception: Candlelit Elegance and Warm Details
The reception area was the epitome of intimate elegance. Carly and Benji opted for low floral arrangements to keep the tables open and inviting. We paired these arrangements with an abundance of candles to create a warm, romantic glow as the sun set over Finca La Concepción.
Each arrangement was carefully curated to reflect the day’s color palette, with peach, blush, and lavender blooms complemented by minimum greenery. The tablescape perfectly embodied the couple’s vision of understated sophistication, creating a dining experience that was both visually stunning and incredibly welcoming.
