A true Villa Wedding in Marbella
The date for our wedding was set, but the next big question quickly followed: which colours should we choose, and what flowers would bring our vision to life? After years of creating beautiful projects for our clients, making these decisions for ourselves felt surprisingly challenging. We had so many ideas and endless possibilities… it was overwhelming, but in the end, we found our direction.
Our palette came together effortlessly: white, green, and light blue, softened with just a touch of blush pink. Surrounded by the feeling of a dreamy Villa Wedding in Marbella, then came the flowers. With so many stunning options, narrowing them down was no small task. After much thought, we chose a combination of varities that felt perfectly “us”: white roses , white lisianthus, Quick Sand roses, blue delphinium, green amaranthus, white delphinium, green hydrangeas, white orchids, and blue hydrangeas. Each bloom added its own texture and colour, creating bouquets and arrangements that were both unique and personal. A true reflection of the day we had envisioned.
Next, we needed the perfect place to say “I do,” and Villa Gratitude in Marbella was everything we could have dreamed of the essence of a Villa Wedding in Marbella. The spacious terraces, gardens, and sweeping views of the Mediterranean seemed to stretch endlessly, blending effortlessly with the soft light of the afternoon. As guests arrived, the first glimpse of the entrance set the tone: a stunning beige fabric draped elegantly, carrying the playful quote, “Came for the Liebe and stayed for the Fiesta,” a heartfelt touch to our Argentinian and German roots. Beside it stood the familiar white pillar we’ve used in countless weddings, now part of our own story, marking the start of a day that felt both deeply personal and joyfully magical. The villa, the décor, and the people arriving all merged into one seamless, unforgettable moment a perfect beginning to our celebration, wrapped in the spirit of a Villa Wedding in Marbella.
Guests were welcomed with a choice of drinks, champagne, water. While they mingled and waited, Camy was getting ready for the most important day of her life.
When it was time, Camy’s mom walked down the aisle with her son, and her daughter appeared with her niece, both serving as flower girls, scattering petals from their baskets. It was an incredibly sweet moment.
We placed fans and hand held parasols for the guest to have at the ceremony in case it was warm and this was a total hit, as the guest took them home as a gift.
As camy her turn to walk down the aisle approached, nerves began to creep in. But the sight that greeted her took my breath away. Two white pillar at the beginning of the aisle with big floral arrangements, and the aisle with carefully curated flower arrangements in beautiful colours. Every detail arranged perfectly by her team. At the end of the aisle, Camy saw her husband standing on a round platform beneath a stunning half-moon arch made of hydrangeas, roses, and delphinium. It all came together so flawlessly, a vision more beautiful than we could have imagined the glowing heart of a Villa Wedding in Marbella.
After the wedding, we headed to the cocktail party, and Camy was completely surprised to see a tattoo artist waiting for them, Her husband had planned it as a special surprise. Camy got her very first tattoo, matching his, and it felt like such a unique and personal way to mark their weddingday.
The cocktail party itself was an absolute delight. Our beautiful bar became the centerpiece, featuring three shelves stocked with a wide variety of drinks for everyone to choose from. Small, glowing candles adorned the shelves, and blue and white china vases filled with elegant flower arrangements added a touch of charm and sophistication. The combination of the thoughtful details, the drinks, and the flowers made the evening feel intimate, joyful, and utterly magical exactly what a Villa Wedding in Marbella should feel like.
When it was time for dinner, we checked out the seating plan, adorned with hydrangeas in ceramic vases, it looked absolutely lovely. Dinner was set up behind the pool, with a long table draped in cascading garlands that seemed to float above it. Chandeliers hung gracefully overhead, adding to the beautifully put-together, fairy-tale atmosphere.
The table numbers perfectly matched the bow-tied menus, and round centerpieces with delicate lamps added a warm, elegant glow. Candles were placed all around the pool and party area, enhancing the magical ambiance. The band had its own stage, draped in beautiful green fabric that complemented the setting perfectly. As the sun began to set, everything the flowers, the lights, the décor came together to create a breathtaking scene straight out of a fairy tale.
As plates were cleared, the celebration naturally shifted to the cake, cut beneath the floral arch, surrounded by everyone special to them. Guests enjoyed drinks in hand, the soft lighting and gentle music carrying the magic forward. From there, the energy flowed seamlessly into the dance floor, where the theam had created a dedicated party area at the center. Candles and party lights cast a warm glow over the space, while the cocktail bar offered his and her favorite drinks. We placed sunglasses with German and Spanish quotes, this was a very fun prop that the guest played around with during at the wedding party.
The flip-flops are a must on every wedding at the party, as the heel scan get uncomfortable after many hours. We also had a custom mirror specially for our wedding. After much deliberation, we chose a green frame, and added a quote on top: “You’re already in the story. Now be in the picture.”
To make the night even more unforgettable, we brought in professional dancers. Their energy, movement, and performances merged perfectly with the music, lighting, and décor, transforming the space into a whirlwind of celebration where every moment felt alive, continuous, and full of joy the perfect ending to our Villa Wedding in Marbella.
